What is product design?
Product design is the process of turning an abstract idea into a physical product that people genuinely want to use.
It begins with understanding genuine needs and ends with a design that is ready for production, scalable and compliant with all relevant standards.

For more than thirty years, we have guided companies from the first sketch to series production. Our team of more than fifty people—industrial designers, mechanical engineers, UX specialists, materials scientists and prototype builders—works under one roof. From CE-certified medical devices to sustainable consumer products and high-tech systems, we bring ideas to market that are both technically sound and commercially strong. At PEZY, product design is a dynamic process of observing, listening and experimenting. We investigate how people use a product, which problems they experience and what they expect. Through interviews, observations, contextual analyses and user validation, we gather insights that form the foundation of the design. We translate these insights into concepts, prototypes and test models. Prototyping is a crucial part of our approach: it makes ideas tangible, testable and open for discussion. By building, testing and rebuilding, we refine both form and function step by step. We put ourselves not only in the end user’s position, but also in that of our client and the manufacturer. Which technical requirements matter? How do we ensure the product is reliable, safe and manufacturable? By integrating every perspective from the outset, we create a process in which creativity, technology and strategy reinforce one another.
