The right plastic for the application
From ABS, PC and PP to biopolymers and high-performance composites: we advise which material choice suits the intended use, the desired lifespan and the production process.

Smart constructions and assembly
We optimise wall thicknesses for strength and cost, set tolerances and take the entire supply chain into account. This ensures complex parts are practically manufacturable.

Include production processes from the start
Our knowledge of injection moulding, blow moulding and overmoulding helps prepare a design for scalable production.

Predict behaviour before the first mould
Mould flow analyses, finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal calculations help limit risks and prevent costly modifications afterwards.

From simulation to physical proof
In our own prototyping and pilot facilities we verify whether a design also performs robustly in practice. Digital models and physical tests reinforce one another.
Sustainability as a starting point
Designed & built for life.
Circularity is woven into our projects. Within the European PolyCE consortium we developed a methodology for Design for and from Recycling. This makes sustainable choices tangible and practically applicable.
Designing for recycling
We develop products suited for recycling. By considering material choices and disassembly already in the design phase, we clarify how a product can be used circularly.
Designing with recycled materials
We also design products made from recycled or biobased materials. Material knowledge helps bring sustainability, functionality and manufacturability together.
Substantiating sustainable choices
