PEZY for FMCG

Make a difference. With every use.

Pleasant dosing. An intuitive refill. Packaging that stands out and works. PEZY helps FMCG brands and private labels develop such ideas into manufacturable products.

Users want simplicity. Development requires coherence.

The dose must be right every time.

Opening, pouring, pressing or taking: the action must feel logical. How does the mechanism work with your product, even when the pack is almost empty?

A refill should be intuitive.

Refilling involves more than the packaging. Opening, transferring, closing and reusing must all work smoothly and reliably.

Less material. The same function.

Lighter packaging also changes rigidity, sealing and appearance. Balancing these factors requires tangible prototypes and targeted tests.

A strong concept must work on the production line.

Filling, assembly and packaging each impose their own requirements. Include them early so the design fits production and logistics.

A small detail matters in every unit.

An additional component or assembly step affects the unit cost. Which choices add value, and which create unnecessary complexity?

Planning requires evidence-based decisions.

Marketing, procurement and production must be able to build on the same solution. An operating principle tested early guides the next investment.

Develop the packaging around its use.

We connect the brand promise with what happens in the user’s hand—and with what is required to produce that experience.

  • Start with the action.

Translate opening, dosing and refilling into concrete design criteria.

  • Make the critical function tangible.

Investigate the operating principle using physical models and prototypes.

  • Balance material and function together.

Assess how material selection affects use, protection and manufacturability.

  • Include production early.

Include filling, assembly, packaging and logistics in the design.

  • Determine the next step based on evidence.

Use test results to develop the concept further in a focused way.

Our FMCG expertise

From the first click to the last drop.

We develop the physical solutions around your FMCG product: the packaging, dispenser or mechanism that enables its use. The development challenge determines which expertise is required.

Use & product concept

We map the actions surrounding the product and translate them into a concept. What must users be able to do, and which properties make that easy?

Dosing & dispensing

From liquid dosing to tissue dispensing, we investigate how mechanics, packaging and contents interact. Physical models make the operating principle testable.

Refilling & reuse

A refill concept must also work in everyday use. We investigate the interface, closure and actions between the permanent container and the refill.

Functional packaging

A distinctive form, integrated capsule or smart closure requires design and engineering to advance together. We connect brand expression with technical function.

Plastics & manufacturability

Material, geometry and production technology jointly determine what is possible. We engineer concepts in detail and test critical decisions with prototypes and, where appropriate, trial tooling.

Prototypes & initial batches

At the PEZY Pilot Factory, we move from design to physical execution. Prototypes and small batches help assess function, assembly and use before scaling further.

Working together on FMCG

Your brand. One coherent development process.

New packaging or a dispenser affects marketing, design, engineering, procurement and production. The Product Lead connects these perspectives so decisions about use, technology and unit cost remain aligned.

Your team sets the direction. The Product Lead works alongside your Product Owner and involves the right specialists to develop, test and prepare the concept for the next phase.

Elixxe: a smart idea, right down to the bottle

From packaging concept to initial production run. PEZY developed a bottle with an integrated ingredient capsule and handled production and assembly in its own Pilot Factory.

Katrin XL: more capacity, controlled dispensing

PEZY investigated how a taller tissue stack could continue to operate reliably. Internal ribs support the stack, while practical tests helped assess use and refilling.
