Inventum and Eneco: a heat pump designed for everyday use
A heat pump must be well considered in terms of use, installation and maintenance. PEZY worked with Inventum on the product design and interface of the Eneco Warmtewinner, including accessibility of the filter.

Inventum and Eneco sought a product design for the Warmtewinner. PEZY combined appearance, controls and maintenance access into the housing.

Recycling heat into a manageable product
Eneco wanted to make reuse of warm air in the home accessible with a hybrid heat pump.
The product had to be compact and easy to use and install. The annually replaceable filter also required accessible maintenance. The design needed to align with Eneco.

Inventum developed the Warmtewinner in close collaboration with PEZY.
Our responsibility was product design and the user experience of the interface. The plastic and EPP components were worked out in CAD together with Inventum.

Connecting use, maintenance and brand expression
We worked on a design where daily operation and maintenance access come together.
Filter accessibility was a concrete design requirement. The coherence with Toon also received attention, in both appearance and the interface.

A compact heat pump with accessible controls
The product development houses the heat pump technology in an enclosure designed for domestic use.
Design and controls align with the desired Eneco appearance and the relationship with Toon. Access to the filter supports recurring maintenance.

A product design that supported the step to market introduction
According to the original case, Inventum ultimately introduced the heat pump as Spaarpomp and it was sold in Ireland as Victorum to Joule.
PEZY’s contribution focused on product design, interface and the joint detailing of the plastic and EPP parts.
